I'm Camille Womack, a storyteller. My passion for creating sparked when I was tasked with creating my first documentary, Black Women Speak. It was such a joy to be a part of creating something so powerful that it solidified my calling in filmmaking, and the impact my film professors had on me led me back into higher education with the goal of achieving my terminal degree to teach and empower the next generation of storytellers, which I am now pursuing. My primary research interests are womanism, black feminism, film, and media representations as I aim to uncover how film representations of Black women directly affect how they're perceived in society.
